Guideline for Protection of Journalists

Objectives

Journalists investigating infringement of press freedom, or who as part
of their work are called upon to live or move around in a hostile environment,
can reduce the risk they face by respecting some basic safety guidelines. Safety,
however, remains a matter of common sense and individual care and vigilance.
Please know that these safety guidelines are only advice on safety and cannot
guarantee absolute safety. However if followed, they can help minimize harm.
