Overview

Document 1: Article 19 of the universal declaration of human rights. The principle
of the right to seek, receive and impart information is laid down
in Article 19 of the UDHR adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10
December 1948.

Document 2: The International Covenant on civil and political Rights of 16 December
1966, which has been signed or ratified by more than 140 states.
